CSS Modal Dialogs

In the case of using the modal div’s in ASP.NET or PHP or so, we have to apply filter to a control, it should have a layout. i.e. it should have a width or height or some dimensions

1. alphafilter : to control the opacity levels of the elements in a html file
2. alphaimageloader : to control the transparency in a png image. this causes an element to be present between the element and its background

the CSS3 standard is : opacity:x only.

Currently IE uses filter:alpha(opacity:x); x = 1 to 100
currently firefox uses  : opacity:x;       x = 0 to 1

lower the value, more the transparency

use both the above properties so that the code will be executed irrespective of the browsers
